Terms of Service

プライバシーポリシー↗利用規約↗データ処理付属書↗特定商取引法に基づく表記↗

Last updated: October 25, 2026

These Terms govern use of PlantOps, a plant-care operations management service provided by Office Hasegawa. PlantOps is intended for business use in Japan and English-speaking markets where we make the service available. Paid availability outside Japan depends on local legal and tax readiness and the options presented at checkout. We may restrict availability by country. Mandatory protections in your jurisdiction continue to apply.

1. Contract and accounts

PlantOps is operated by Office Hasegawa, a sole proprietorship. The business that creates a workspace is the customer. The person who registers represents that they are authorized to bind that customer. The customer must keep account information accurate and current and manage its users and their permissions.

2. Use and customer responsibilities

  • Limits apply to each workspace. Free includes 5 customers, 1 user, and 100 MB of storage; Standard includes 50 customers, 10 users, and 2 GB; Pro includes 200 customers, 50 users, and 10 GB.
  • You must have authority to enter and use contact details, site addresses, access instructions, work records, and photos about customers, staff, and others, and must provide required notices and obtain any required consent or other legal basis.
  • Enter only information needed for your work. Do not submit sensitive credentials or unnecessary personal information. PlantOps does not continuously track user locations.
  • Do not submit unlawful or infringing information or malware, or interfere with the service’s security or availability.
  • You are responsible for your users’ compliance and must promptly notify us of suspected data exposure.

Free: recurring plans, multiple assignees, photos, reminders, PDF reports, CSV exports, and priority support are unavailable. Standard: includes recurring plans, multiple assignees, photos (up to 15 MB per file), and reminders. Pro: includes Standard features, photos (up to 25 MB per file), PDF reports, CSV exports, and priority support. Priority support means requests are handled in a prioritized queue; it does not guarantee a particular response or resolution time. Features and limits are subject to the plan display at signup and in the app.

3. Price, payment, and plan changes

Monthly prices are Free (no charge), Standard (USD 79), and Pro (USD 199). For customers in Japan, Standard and Pro prices include consumption tax. Where PlantOps is made available elsewhere, Stripe Checkout displays the applicable tax and total before you order, subject to local requirements. Stripe processes payments. By subscribing, you authorize charges to your payment method at signup and each renewal.

You can change plans from the billing page. Upgrades take effect after Stripe confirms the additional payment; any prorated adjustment appears on the Stripe invoice. Downgrades and cancellations generally take effect at the end of the current billing period. After a failed payment, paid features may be restricted after the implemented seven-day grace period, and the account may move to Free depending on its subscription status. Unused-period refunds are not provided except where required by law.

4. Data and nature of the service

You retain rights in your submitted data and authorize us to process it as needed to provide PlantOps. Processing is governed by the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. PlantOps supports field-work scheduling, recordkeeping, and reporting; it does not provide plant-health diagnoses or legal advice, or guarantee that a visit occurs or achieves a result. You are responsible for checking the accuracy and recipients of work records and customer-facing reports.

5. Intellectual property and availability

Rights in PlantOps, its software, design, and marks belong to us or their respective owners. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use PlantOps during your subscription as permitted by these Terms. Maintenance, outages, security needs, law, or third-party interruptions may require us to suspend or change all or part of the service, with advance notice where practicable or notice afterward in an emergency. We will take reasonable steps to limit impact and restore service.

6. Suspension, termination, and deletion

We may restrict or suspend an account or feature as necessary for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or non-payment. The customer may cancel a paid subscription from the billing page. The workspace owner may request deletion in account settings. We process a deletion request after email verification and operator review. Return, deletion, and retention of backups at termination are governed by the Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.

7. Warranty and liability

We work to operate PlantOps reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or suitability for every business purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or special loss or loss of profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, liability that cannot be limited by law, or applicable mandatory protections.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including for changes in law or the service. We will identify the effective date and give advance notice of material changes in the app or by email. Continued use after that date means the updated Terms apply to the extent permitted by law. Japanese law governs these Terms, and the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for PlantOps disputes, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
